Max's Birthday

Max's Birthday was quaint, just like he wanted it! I guess turning 30 is a big deal or something because he really didn't want a huge celebration;) I think it's a wonderful year to celebrate-30 sounds so mature and I think it's pretty hot! Anyway, I tried to make it a more relaxed day and nothing HUGE, but still something to celebrate. I made him waffles and eggs for breakfast, packed him a good lunch and for dinner we had Shecrab Soup (yum!). We had some friends over after work for some Peanut Butter Cupcakes with chocolate icing (recipe from my cupcake recipe book. If any of you want it, I'd be happy to send it to you. They were so good and moist! Although I think the next time I make them I will do a fluffier whipped icing instead) and of course, Ice-Cream! Jeremy had bought him candles from Coldstone that were to have different color flames, so we tried those. The green, red and purple showed up best. After cupcakes and ice-cream the guys watched Jim Gaffigan and had some good laughs.

My HoT 30 year old husband!

Cupcakes...the next day I had one and it still tasted great and was moist. I guess Winston thought so too because when we got home that night, we noticed there were crumbs all over the kitchen table and I found the cupcake rack on the kitchen chair. Winston enjoyed 3 cupcakes all to himself!

You can kinda see the green in this one...

Happy Birthday Max! I hope it was as relaxing as you wanted it to be. Love you!
