Lincoln was blessed the Sunday after he was born at just a week old. We did it that way so Grandpa Peters and Uncle Josh would be able to be a part of it. Max gave Lincoln a beautiful blessing. I was so touched by the sweet Spirit that was present and as I sat there listening to the words spoken felt so humbled to be this precious little boys mother. What a great and eternal responsibility this is! I was full of gratitude to Heavenly Father for trusting me with this child, for having the Gospel in my life and for having a husband who is a worthy Priesthood holder. I am truly blessed to have the priesthood in my home and for Max who takes his responsibility as a father, husband and spiritual leader seriously.
After Sacrament meeting, Dawn suggested we go to the temple for pictures. It was a beautiful sunny day (you'll notice from all the squinting) and it was great to walk the temple grounds with the family and to capture images of the special day!
