October

As a new mom every part and everything about your baby is so exciting and adorable. I couldn't (and still can't!) seem to get enough of Lincoln and was so happy Max was able to be home with us. One thing about Lincoln was his toes were always curled! I loved his little feet with his little round toes and had a little photo session one day while he was sleeping...

One day Max was vacuuming and I was holding Lincoln on the couch. I happened to glance down at him and this is what I saw...
Hahaha! So glad I had my phone by me to capture this! His pointer finger really was in his ear. We laughed so hard that at just 2 1/2 weeks old, he could do something like this!

My sister and her husband offered to watch Lincoln while we attended APX's end of the year party in Provo, so we made our first trip to Utah with Lincoln! Lincoln was able to meet two of his Uncle's and several of his cousins on the trip too! It was our first time away from Lincoln and it was a whole new experience. We knew he was safe and in great hands, so we tried to focus on just having a great time, which we did. APX built a dirt bike track outside the corporate office just for our entertainment for the evening, Nitro Circus. It started by Travis Pastrana and a few other guys jumping out of a helicopter and boarding down to the track, which was pretty sweet! We had a lot of fun watching their crazy stunts and spending time with friends and family. On the way back to the car Max and I had a 'parent' moment. We were walking hand in hand and normally we would be talking about how great a time we had and what we wanted to do for the rest of the evening but instead we were talking about how incredible it was that we had a baby who was waiting for us and how excited we were to see him!
I chose this picture because I love how Lincoln is just chilling on Jeremy's arm.

Halloween: We didn't go trick-or-treating this year. Lincoln slept anyway, but we thought we would wait to start that next year. On Sunday, the actual day of Halloween, we dressed Lincoln up in his pumpkin outfit Uncle Jeremy got him and took a picture by our sole decoration. You might think I posed him like that, but I didn't. That is all him! It's just one of his dear little traits.

After 5 or 6 pictures, he was done.... :)

I love the curly toes. So so cute. Nate works at Tahitian Noni right next door to Apex in Provo. I remember driving by a few times wondering why in the world they had a dirt course instead of their beautiful grass. Now I know. I am so glad you guys are doing well!
